The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the open house and dedication dates for its Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple.
A media day for the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Invited guests will tour the temple on August 13 and 14.
The temple will be open for public tours from Saturday, August 15, through Saturday, August 22 (excluding Sunday).
Elder Patrick Kearon of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will preside at the dedication on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. (rebroadcast: 2 p.m.). The dedicatory session will be broadcast to all units in the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple district.

Cambodia is home to more than 17,000 Latter-day Saints meeting in 31 congregations. This temple, built in the nation’s capital city, will be the country’s first house of the Lord.
President Russell M. Nelson announced the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple in 2018.
“Our need to be in the temple on a regular basis has never been greater. I plead with you to take a prayerful look at how you spend your time. Invest time in your future and in that of your family,” he said. “I promise you that the Lord will bring the miracles He knows you need as you make sacrifices to serve and worship in His temples.”
Latter-day Saints worship in temples for several reasons: to feel God’s love and peace, to learn more about God’s plan for His children and the gospel of Jesus Christ, to make promises with God and with one’s husband or wife and to unite families in this life and the next through sacred ordinances.
ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជាគឺមានសមាជិកពួកបរិសុទ្ធថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយច្រើនជាង ១៧០០០ នាក់ដែលជួបជុំគ្នានៅក្នុងសាលាជំនុំចំនួន ៣១ កន្លែង ។ ព្រះវិហារបរិសុទ្ធនេះនឹងក្លាយជាដំណាក់នៃព្រះអម្ចាស់ដំបូងគេនៅក្នុងប្រទេស ដែលសាងសង់ឡើងនៅក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ ។

លោកបានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា « តម្រូវការរបស់យើងដើម្បីនៅក្នុងព្រះវិហារបរិសុទ្ធជាទៀងទាត់ គឺចាំបាច់នៅក្នុងពេលនេះជាងពេលណាៗទាំងអស់ ។ ខ្ញុំសូមអង្វរបងប្អូនឲ្យពិចារណាទៅលើការចំណាយពេលវេលារបស់បងប្អូនប្រកបដោយការអធិស្ឋាន ។ សូមចំណាយពេលសម្រាប់អនាគត និងគ្រួសាររបស់បងប្អូន ។ ខ្ញុំសន្យានឹងបងប្អូនថា ព្រះអម្ចាស់នឹងនាំអព្ភូតហេតុដែលទ្រង់បានញាណដឹងថា បងប្អូនត្រូវការ នៅពេលបងប្អូនធ្វើការលះបង់ដើម្បីបម្រើ និងថ្វាយបង្គំនៅក្នុងព្រះវិហារបរិសុទ្ធរបស់ទ្រង់ » ។
ពួកបរិសុទ្ធថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយថ្វាយបង្គំនៅក្នុងព្រះវិហារបរិសុទ្ធសម្រាប់មូលហេតុជាច្រើនដូចជា ៖ ដើម្បីទទួលបានក្ដីស្រឡាញ់ និងភាពសុខសាន្ដរបស់ព្រះ ដើម្បីរៀនបន្ថែមទៀតអំពីផែនការរបស់ព្រះសម្រាប់កូនចៅរបស់ទ្រង់ និងដំណឹងល្អនៃព្រះយេស៊ូវគ្រីស្ទ ដើម្បីធ្វើការសន្យាជាមួយព្រះ និងជាមួយស្វាមី ឬភរិយាខ្លួន ព្រមទាំងដើម្បីបង្រួបបង្រួមក្រុមគ្រួសារនៅក្នុងជីវិតនេះ និងជីវិតក្រោយតាមរយៈពិធីបរិសុទ្ធដ៏ពិសិដ្ឋទាំងឡាយ ។
