The Cambodia Health Improvement Effort (CHIE) is a new approach to improve health care and provides humanitarian aid for Cambodia’s poor. Working as partners with government and healthcare leaders, CHIE provides training, equipment and construction projects. The program was initiated in 2018 by the Asia Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and provides assistance to the poor and needy through Latter-day Saint Charities, the humanitarian arm of the Church.
